  • WE VERIFIED THE CUST COMPLAINT. THE ENGINE IS RUNNING POORLY AND WE RAN TESTS AND WE FOUND CYLINDER #7 IS THE MISFIRE. THE SPARK PUG IS FULL OF FUEL AND OIL. THE COMPRESSION TEST WAS GOOD, NON RUNNING (65-70PSI) AND RUNNING (175PSI) COMPARED TO CYLINDER #5. THE IGNITION SYSTEM IS WORKING AS PER SPECS. THE FUEL PRESSURE IS GOOD AND HOLDING (60PSI). THESE ENGINES ARE KNOWN FOR LIFTER ISSUES AND CAMSHAFT PITTING ISSUES THAT CAUSE THESE SYMPTOMS. DUE TO THE HIGH MILEAGE OF THE VEHICLE AND THE LIFTER NOISES IT IS MAKING. WE DON'T WANT THE CUST TO WASTE ANYMORE MONEY WITH A TEAR DOWN OF THE HEADS AND CAMSHAFT. WE REPLACED THE ENGINE WITH A JASPER ENGINE. WE ALSO REPLACED THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR (STUCK IN OLD BLOCK) AND BOTH ENGINE MOUNTS (TORN/ BROKEN). WE CLEANED THE K&N ENGINE AIR FILTER (IT WAS VERY DIRTY). WE INSTALLED THE DIABLO PROGRAM. WE ROAD TESTED THE VEHICLE. NOW IT IS WORKING AS PER SPECS. NOTE: THE ENGINE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE AN OIL CHANGE 500 MILES AFTER INSTALLATION FOR WARRANTY PURPOSES. THEN NORMAL OIL CHANGE CAN OCCUR. NO MORE THAN 5000 MILES OR THE WARRANTY WILL BE VOID.
